Community

The Anglican diocese of Kaduna is commited to helping the community, and so far its work is covering the following sections:

Rural Health- A large part of the diocese is rural areas which have lack of clean water, health clinics etc. the diocese is continually tackling these are sand has the following sub sections:

Kateri Clinic - This is a fully operational clinic wit a permanent doctor.
Mobile Clinic - This service provides drugs and nurse facilities to the more remote villages using the diocesan truck acting as the base of the mobile clinic.
Future Clinics - The plan at the moment is to construct a clinic at Iburu on the Kafanchan/Jos road
Past Clinics - the diocese did provide a clinic at Yelwa-Danwata, which is still operational but is now in the diocese of Zaria.
Water Wells - The Kaduna diocese has installed over 20 water wells in villages acrossthe diocese. The programme for 2009 is to install another 10 wells.
